How Publishing Works

After creating a publisher account, head over to the courses page and create a course, where you’ll add lessons, lessons slides and other course material. You can create from your mobile devices as well from wherever you are, so that you capture inspiration as soon as it strikes.

Send the course for review once you’re ready to publish it to the Tizisha Library. Our review team will work with you in real time to ensure your course delivers the best value for the organisations on Tizisha.

Once your course passes the review, it’s published to the Tizisha Library for organisations to import to their accounts and share with their learners. You can continue to make updates to the course and watch royalties stream in from organisations that have imported and published your courses.

What kind of content can I create on Tizisha?

You can distribute various types of content on Tizisha, including PDFs, videos, audio, text, and images. The platform allows you to create quizzes and add polls and open ended questions to slides for feedback and evaluation. Content can be created directly on the platform or uploaded if prepared externally, giving you the flexibility to create in a manner that you are already used to.

What reports can I access?

As a publisher Tizisha provides insightful analytics on where your course is being consumed and where your royalties are at each day for the courses which qualify.

What kind of support does Tizisha offer?

Tizisha offers a comprehensive help section for publishers and if in-person assistance is needed, customer support via live chat is readily available to address any queries or issues you might encounter.

Can I sign up as a Publisher on Tizisha if I’m an Independent Trainer?

Absolutely! Tizisha's  Publisher Platform is designed to accommodate both independent trainers and larger teams or organizations. You'll be a single editor in an account which is okay and you can always add more team members for free as a publisher.

How are Payouts made to Publishers on Tizisha?

Payouts are made on the 8th of the next month. These are done via the payout details that a publisher has shared on their account. If there's an issue with making a payout, the Tizisha team will contact you directly via email.

How do I qualify for Royalties as a Publisher on Tizisha?

The moment any of your courses is imported to an organisation and remains published, the platform will begin calculating your royalties on a daily basis. Royalties are based on a pool model where a percentage of an organisations subscription revenue is allocated for library courses to share. If your course is imported to say 10 organisations it belongs to 10 pools where it will receive royalties from. On the revenue page, a publisher should be able to see the number of pools where their course was published to in on a particular day.
